10. Does the rescue allow people to foster to adopt a dog that is available for adoption?
We offer foster to adopt mostly when a puppy or dog has not been spayed or neutered yet. We only finalize adoptions when our rescue dogs are fully vetted. If a dog is fully vetted, the only time we offer foster to adopt is if there is a concern about the dog being compatible in the new home. But for the most part we are very detailed about finding the right fit for each of our dogs.
11. If I adopt a dog and it doesn't work out and have to return the dog, do I get my adoption fee returned?
Adoption fees are NON-REFUNDABLE after it has been a week since the dog was adopted. On the same note, if an adopter decides after having adopted the dog for some time, that they no longer want the dog, the rescue must be contacted however, the rescue reserves the right to accept the dog in return. If the dog is agressive (and was not agressive when adopted), the rescue will NOT be able to accept the dog due to liability reasons. If the dog needs to be returned for non-agression reasons, then we ask that the owner holds the dog until we are able to rehome the dog or find a foster to take the dog back.
